They also said that depending on the complexity of the project, they were currently building some pools with price tags of up to $200,000. However, their $90k starting point did include a pool heater and an auto cover.

Perma Pools’ Range – $53,000 – 100,000

Perma Pools has been building pools in Indiana for over 35 years. They are based out of Indianapolis and offer both vinyl liner and fiberglass pools. When we spoke to their team, pools were starting at $53,000 for a basic pools. However, a homeowner chooses to include a heater and auto cover, they price range is $70,000 – 100,000. Vinyl liner and fiberglass pools are typically less expensive than gunite pools, so this would be a good affordable option.

Mud Slinger’s Range $46,000 – $95,000

Mud Slinger is by the far the most transparent company we found. Located in Indianapolis, they publish their pool pricing right on their website. This is extremely uncommon for pool builders to do and quite refreshing. Mud Slingers build gunite and vinyl liner pools. At the time of this article, their standard and smallest gunite pool started at $59,4000 and most expensive, largest version was $96,875, including upgrades. More affordably, their vinyl liner pools started at $45,800 and went up to $63,975 for a larger version with upgrades.
