However, Dewalt introduced its first ever snow blower in 2023. Not yet available on Dewalt’s Amazon storefront, homeowners will need to purchase it directly from Dewalt’s website.

Dewalt Snow Blower Specs
The Dewalt single-stage snow blower is a small, cordless, electric snow blower. The 60 V battery voltage boasts being able to clear roughly 5,210 square feet of space on a single charge.
The images might look small, but the Dewalt snow blower packs a punch. It’s instructions specify that it can handle up to 6 inches of snow.
If you have a double or triple-wide driveway, you don’t need to rule this snow blower out right away. In fact, the maximum throwing distance of this small snow blower is an impressive 40 feet. In case you don’t know your driveway dimensions, that’s about 4.5 parking spaces.
Single Stage Snow Blowers: Dewalt vs. PowerSmart
While we’re impressed by Dewalt’s first ever snow blower, we always like to compare new products with existing models. Dewalt’s blower has competitive attributes to the holy grail of single stage snow blowers, the PowerSmart 80V.
- Powerful: A true gas replacement, 80% quieter than PowerSmart gas snow blower, 160% stronger than 40V snow blower.
- Snow Remove Capacity: Snow clearing depth up to 8 inches, throwing distance up to 40ft.
PowerSmart features an 80V battery voltage over Dewalt’s 60V. However, we’re willing to overlook that difference. Both snow blowers are able to clear 5,210 square feet or 16 parking spaces in a single charge. Dewalt and PowerSmart also both boast a 40 foot throwing distance.
PowerSmart edges Dewalt in one other category, ideal snow depth. Now, in our experience, this metric can be a suggestion instead of a rule. However, PowerSmart encourages homeowners to clear up to 8 inches of snow while Dewalt cautions only 6 inches.
Dewalt does outshine PowerSmart in one attribute: warranty. Dewalt offers a 3 year limited warranty while PowerSmart only offers 2 years. All in all, their performances are close to one another. PowerSmart takes a slight edge for its battery voltage and snow depth capacity.
Although, we recommend the PowerSmart 80V over the Dewalt snow blower because of price. When two machines are very similar, choose the less expensive model. PowerSmart retails at $699 while Dewalt sits at $999.
Dewalt Snow Blower Reviews
The Dewalt single-stage snow blower may be brand new, but it’s receiving some high praise. Customer reviews have dubbed it a “great little machine” and a “snow blowing beast” in its freshmen year. Additional customers complemented its attributes, stating that it was “light and functional” as well as being “powerful, easy to maneuver and quiet.” Time will tell if the Dewalt snow blower is built to last, but from a performance perspective, it checks the boxes.
